Armando Orefiche became a legend as a pianist-conductor of the famed Lecuona Cuban Boys. And this CD is a living and vibrating evidence of his art. It gives us the oportunity to listen to his piano solos, accompanied by some rhythm, both perfectly balanced in the most varied selection of popular and classical pieces. The arrangements are glorious and Armando's exclusive style sounds better that ever. Music by Ernesto Lecuona, Rene Touzet, Maria Grever, Armando Orefiche himself and other inmortal composers will delight you from begening to end in this tribute to popular music. Originally recorded by Panart Records in Cuba in the early 60's, the sound quality is superb and allows you to enjoy every single note at its best. You will never regret adding this CD to your collection. It is a must for Armando Orefiche's fans.
