    OK First of all Duelo is an amazing band with a huge amount of talent!!!!!! I heard about the C.D from a friend and now I cant stop listening to it!!!! THe songs are soo beautiful and well written!!!! I only wish they could be promoted more outside of Texas so that their other fans can get a chance to show how much they are appreciated!! I would strongle recomend this c.d to everyone who is into the Norteno/ Tejano music because this c.d is the best and the band will certainly suceed because already they have devoted fans to support them as well as others who are barley discovering how good Duelo is!! Keep up the good work Duelo! u guys r the best!!!!

    This group made an excellent debut CD. The lead singer was already known throughout the tejano scene because he wrote a lot of songs for some very well known groups. Excellent choice of songs, music and lyrics. Overall, this Cd kicks....

    No cabe duda que el grupo Duelo ha ido madurando a lo largo de su historia musical gracias a la perseverancia con la que siempre ha trabajado a traves de su carrera dentro de la música regional mexicana. Este es un CD muy a doc con el título, esta muy bien producido, con ritmos muy variados que van desde norteño, cumbia tejana, cumbia vallenata, balada, pop e incluso un poco de rock que forma parte de algunos arreglos plasmados en algunas canciones que han dado a conocer las influencias artísticas con las que cuentan los integrantes de Duelo y, sobre todo, los temas estan llenos de un gran sentimiento que nos envuelve en la atmósfera deseada por Duelo....nos lleva a reflexionar sobre nuestras propias Relaciones Conflictivas.

    La canción debut "Por Que No Te Marchas" (excelente canción) de corte musical norteño progresivo, nos muestra la intensidad con la que quisieron dar a conocer sus relaciones conflictivas. Y con un similar corte tenemos "Con El Mundo Encima" que nos dice lo difícil que es cuando la persona amada se nos ha hido de nuestra vida y el dolor que queda en el corazón sintiendo que todo esta en nuestra contra; "Es Por Ella" dedicado a "ella (s)" con la que se quiere describir los sentimientos que se tienen cuando se esta en armonía con el ser amado por lo que también forma parte de estas relaciones conflictivas (¿un poco contradictorio con el título de este álbum no?); "¿Por Que?" tema que nos lleva al punto en el que una relación de pareja se va a terminar por los pleitos comunes aún habiendo un gran amor por el cuál vale la pena luchar y la pregunta interior de ambos es ¿porque pasa todo esto? y uno de los dos pregunta: "¿dime si no vale la pena luchar?" sin obtener respuesta alguna - es una cancion de letras muy profundas.

    Temas al ritmo de cumbia vallenata como son: "La Inmensidad", "Sin Alma", "Aprendí", "Escrito En Una Esquina", "¿A Donde Fuiste Tu?" "Espacios", excelentes temas que llevan el título del disco a su máxima expresión sentimental con letras y ritmos envolventes. Por otro lado "Un Idiota Como Yo", "Que Ya Te Vas" balada norteña y "Te Compro" de ritmos norteño y polka; "Si Quieres Volar" de ritmo Pop con arreglos de acordeon y bajo sexto; "Relaciones Conflictivas" que es una balada pop con similares arreglos de acordeón, terminan por formar parte de la amplia gama de ritmos ya mencionados.

    Es uno de los discos que no deben de faltar en su stand musical ya que es uno de los mejores de este grupo. ¡Pero que sea el original! - Digan: NO A LA PIRATERIA.

    Well you guys sent me the wrong cd to being with and now I'm going to have to pay for it. I missed the deadline to send the cd back and that's because I didn't have money to send it back due to the package and shipping and handeling. I figured it would almost come out to what I payed for initially.

    I listen to all types of music. I listen to Intocable, Ramon Ayala and all others and I have to say Duelo is one of the best I have heard. Duelo is doing awesome for a new group and I hope they do even better.

    Only their second cd, but it is great!! Good orignality and song writing. They are not getting the recognition they should be getting because thier genre is crowded with many talented groups. In a few years , DUELO will break away from the pack and be the one of the best if not the best just like INTOCABLE is right now.

    i am the owner of a music studio and well i have to listen to almost every cd title and well duelo you have done it again since your first awsome cd to the second you will always be the best. and chuy at PRo sound Studio awsome job with these guys. they are truly the best i recomend it.

          Duelo is one of the best tejano-norteno-contemporaneo bands out there. Their style is unique, fresh, and just great. The guys are extremely talented. Oscar Ivan writes almost EVERY song in this CD. Any baile you go to where Duelo is performing will be FULL. I recommed this CD, as well as all their others.

            Simply the best tejano group available since intocable. New lyrics and arrangements make this recent album very refreshing and appealing. Personally I think Oscar could make it on his own if he went solo, he's a very strong creative force. In any way, it's a must have for any tejano music lover.
