This CD was a gift from my daughter and I love Rocio's interpretation of her latest ballads. There simply is no greater Latin interpretor of the quality and handpicked ballads than Rocio Durcal, singing compositions of Juan Gabriel and other great songwriters. I have seen her perform in Caracas and the "goose-bums" were there! Other classics of her are "Confidencias" and "Entre tu y yo", which I highly recommend to music-lovers of Rocio Durcal. "La gata bajo la lluvia", how dramatic, "Marinero", how inviting! Hope you'll keep us warm for a long time to come!

There is no one like Rocio Durcal...no one. Her voice is pure..tender..and forceful when it has to be. The depth of her passion is never in question with any of these songs..particularly with cuts like Parase Mentira. Her songs are of love and pain and she makes you feel both deep down inside. Para Toda La Vida..makes you feel it all in a most pleasant way. If you want to explore the depths of your soul...let Rocio Durcal take you there.

Rocio has been around in the Latin American culture for years now, and we have all adored her ballads and heart-felt vocals, and her first single, "Para Toda La Vida" is INCREDIBLE, I get goosebumps when the trumpet first sounds.....

This is Rocio's second CD including Roberto Livi's compositions. The first single, Para Toda la vida (for the rest of my life) is a continuation of "The years have gone by" (Como han pasado los años), a song that became very popular a few years ago. If you like Rocio's music, I recommend this CD.
