I saw her video on VHUno and I was blown away by her talent. Why haven't we heard more from her?? She even plays guitar and has thoughtful lyrics. Get this and her new one!

Amazing Voice.......2002-08-19

I don't speak a word of Spanish, but this CD makes me wish I had taken the language instead of French in school! Oh well, music is universal. I'm just happy listening to her beautiful flow. Amazing!

This 18-year-old Dominican Artist is ready for stardom. With her self-titled CD hitting stores nationwide she is sure to bloom into a great pop diva. Being that she is bilingual Alih has more diversity and is able to reach twice the people. Her songs are upbeat and happy. The CD is an enjoyable mixture of both English and Spanish songs. With songs like "Mil Besos" (Which is also translated into English "A Thousand Kisses") and "Embrujada Por Tu Amor" (Also translated into English " Have Crush On You") it is easy to make Alih Jey one of your new favorite artists. For those people who are young at heart and love pop music, I suggest you go out and make Alih Jey the next CD you buy.

This is definetly THE BEST CD I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!!!! It completely blew my mind!!!!! all the songs are great, and my favorite one is "I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU" I can totally relate to the lyrics, the whole song is amazing! Alih's voice is better than 99.9% of all the other singers out there, she's magnificent. The whole sound of the CD is phenomenal. Keep up the great work!!!!!

This is an excellent CD all over. Alih can really sing and she co-writes the songs. The entire thing is catchy with just enough rock to keep it up. My favorite song is Vino en Tu Bar, which I didn't really like at first for lack of attention, then I really listened and it is an incredibly beautiful and deep song. Other highlight songs include Aqui Voy (my other favorite), Muñequita Tuya, and Tu Cancion Feliz. I recommend this album to anyone.

I just got ALIH JEY'S second album, "Gotas de Piel," and I am so inlove with it. I liked her old song "It's Ok" so I bought her first CD, which was good. But this one is much more polished and I can tell that she's grown in many ways. My favorite song is "Vino en tu Bar," the lyrics are cool... they're obsessive, the music is awesome.... I need to see this girl in concert, I wish they would update her freaking website.

Wow! ALIH JEY is going to be a huge star once people hear this album! It's amazing! Her voice is so cool, so silky smooth and yet so powerful when she needs it. I never, ever write record reviews but I just got this CD and I can't stop playing it! Her first single, "Muñequita Tuya" is a smash hit song!! Perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

But my favorite is definitely "AL VERTE PARTIR / FALL ON MY SWORD" which is now my favorite song of all time! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!!

FALL ON MY SWORD is the most beautiful song I've heard in a really long long time and worth the ten bucks for the album alone! Seriously, it's just great.

Alih Jey is going to be the next SHAKIRA. This spanish language album which only features one english language song is so good that this project will lead to an all english language project very, very soon.

In the meantime, we all have a chance to become ALIH JEY fans from the very beginning. GOTAS DE PIEL gets 10 out of 10 stars for delivering gorgeous music at a time when we really need it.

Alih jey's songwriting is brilliant and insightful and just plain fun. This should be the only CD you give to your spanish speaking friends. As for the gringos (he-he) FALL ON MY SWORD is worth the price. Check it out, you'll see how a simple, beautiful song can be so powerful. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.

GOTAS DE PIEL is an absolute winner, and I recommend you go out and get it right away!!
