Nice cd!.......2007-05-21

I bought this cd without knowing it was a greatest hits. I usually don't like greatest hits because they usually include songs that were played too many times. This one ended up being a good buy because it includes several songs I could not get in the original albuns.

Este gran packete contiene los mejores exitos de Aterciopelados. Todos los que ya tienen los otros albums ya saben que no desepsionan. Y ahora con todas sus mejores canciones en un album esta mejor. La voz de Andrea es increible.. puede consquistarte en unas cansiones y hacerte reir en otras. Lo recomiendo mucho a todos aquellos que apenas empiezan a conocer el grupo. Muy buen trabajo.

After discovering Aterciopelados thanks to a friend a few years ago, I have become a huge fan of theirs and "Evolucion" is a great set of songs spanning their career. The range of emotions on this CD is amazing, from severe melancholy to sheer giddiness and everything in between.

I'd rate this group not just at the forefront of modern Latin music, but at the forefront of bands anywhere in the world these days. They create to the beat of their own drum, are incredibly unique, and somehow they make the music work to become extremely catchy and captivating to the listener. Not to mention Andrea's voice, which just sucks you into her soul.

Aterciopelados may be heading into new musical horizons, but that's expected - for them to grow, they can't sit and create the same songs over and over again. I play "Tanto Amor" repeatedly - it's got an amazing hook.

Definite recommendation to anyone looking to experience the best of the Latin alertnative rock scene.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll sing along, you'll get goose-bumps, you'll get up and dance -- sometimes all in the space of a single song. Aterciopelados is one of the greatest bands in the world. Evolucion is a superb entrée into the velvety world of Andrea Echeverri, Hector Buitrago and their co-conspirators, a world that reveals more and more of its resonant beauty the deeper one explores. If you don't understand any Spanish at all, this band will give you a reason to start learning. I hope and pray that they NEVER record a single word of English.

The 2 New songs Are Beautiful!.......2003-05-18

This "greatest hits" package is good for people who don't own any aterciopelados recordings, but also the 2 new songs ("mi vida brilla" and "tanto amor") are so wonderful that all fans must buy this.
Aterciopelados have so many wonderful songs that it makes it hard to pick which ones will go on a compilation, but the selections they picked are all good especially "el album", "florecita roquera" and "caribe atomico"

A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHY HE HAS SO MUCH TALENT............2003-01-29

On this album there's simply good reasons why that Pena Suazo's talent has inspired so many people. It goes without saying that this album is a good product for any types of "fiestas". The remakes of his arrangements are all very nice. A good example of that would be "Potpourri de exitos" in that song in particular he has showed the public that he was the creator of so many popular songs of other musical groups. And "Nececito tenerla" was another good song that he wrote for Fernando Villalona. It all goes without saying, that if you're a Banda Gorda fan than you should'nt miss out on this one.........

Boyz II Men at their best.......2002-03-24

One of the first songs that made a great impact on my life (after Bad and She Drives Me Crazy of the 1980s) was "End of the Road". I remember the video after all these years. Back then they weren't the stylish fellas they are today, but the talent was there.

"II" was a HUGE influence on my musical tastes and lead me to a love of black music. They are in my opinion the greatest vocal group that ever lived (and although I am young I have heard the music of the Miracles, the Stylistics and New Edition so I can make that comment fairly).

This album is the Boyz at their best. Forget Evolution; this is by far much better. This is not really "Evolution: Spanish Edition" as the title and cover art would suggest, it is more in line with Boyz II Men Sing Their Greatest Hits in Spanish". Very good album, a worthy part of any CD collection.

I have all of Boyz II Men's albums and by far this is my favourite. This album is not so much of a Spanish Version of the Evolution album but a Boy II Men Greatest Hits in Spanish. The highlight for me was my favourite Boyz song "water runs dry" in Spanish. If you thought the English Version was good, wait 'til you here this.

Los b2m son el mejor grupo vocal, sus canciones en español estan interpretadas genialmente, buff..los pelos de punta "el final del camino" es sin duda el momento cumbre, todo el disco es genial y cuentan con la produccion en español de K.c Porter conocido por sus produciones en versiones españolas de gente como Toni Braxton, New edition, Barrio Boyz o Az yet.En definitiva disco esencial para los amantes del soul, y R&B...TOTAL!

Boys II Men do a beautiful job on this Spanish CD version!!.......1999-02-16

"Evolucion" (Spanish version for "Evolution") by Boyz II Men, is a beautiful rendition of songs. I was amazed at their wonderful pronouncation of the words to these English version songs! I gave this CD as Christmas gifts to my Spanish-speaking friends last year who live in Maracaibo, Venezuela! They loved this CD and played it every day and night as loudly as they could! They told me that Boys II Men's Spanish was perfect. I wondered how they produced such a fine quality of work. I finally bought myself one, as I prefer the Spanish version over the English version, even though I only understand limited Spanish. The slow songs sound more beautiful, and more romantic! I highly recommend this CD to any person of any nationality! ENJOY!!

Luis has graduated from his soft salsa sound to a more driving, syncopated beat that showcases his wonderful voice and gives us something to dance to. A wonderfgul album!

It's really incredible how the new Tropical Groove imposed by Sergio George and DLG have another followers. Evolución is the continuity to this new wave of making Salsa with fat and sticky bass lines, great percussion, rap and latin vocals arranges but with the incredible touch of Luis Enrique playing vocals and other different instruments.

The lyrics are simply the best! 5 stars - If you like DLG you have to own this CD.

Luis Enrique shows his unique style of Projecting innovative tunes, it is really a combination of rythms which fascinates me the most i would highly recommend this CD to anyone that really admires great music......

What can be said about" EL PRINCIPE".......2000-10-18

Here it is, after quite some time back to salsa. I just want people to realize that Luis Enrique is a Pioneer in the music of SALSA! He started back in 88 with his romantic style of salsa. And every salsero out today can thank him i.e. Charlie Cruz etc. This album is a good one but nothing compared to his earlier recordings. He has ballads, salsa, a mix of reggae ( Fragancia from DLG) which make it a fun album. Some songs are danceable and others are for LOVE! A great buy! I hope it does well. He is extrememly talented and underated! And I am also hoping that his next one is authentic salsa! Y Que VIVA LA SALSA!

Ricky Martin's First Menudo Album.......1999-06-24

I have this album (from way back when) and if any Ricky Martin music fans care, he sings "Rayo de Luna" on this album (#9). These songs bring back so many memories! It's fun to hear Ricky before his voice changed!
