Bomba 2000 es un disco ejemplar, todo lo que yo esperaba de un grupo tan exitoso como los Hermanos Rosario. En este disco los Hermanos Rosario han reavivado el ritmo golpeito de este genero musical que es algo tipico del merengue y que les hace falta a muchos grupos que lo cantan hoy en dia. Tambien, lo que me impresiono de este disco es el sabor criollo de las canciones. Si te gusta bailar o no, no importa porque una vez que escuches la musica te vas a levantar con ganas de mover el esqueleto porque el ritmo es muy bailable y ellos saben poner los ultimos toques a cualquier disco que tengan. Si pudiera les daria el premio galardon porque se lo merecen por un trabajo bien hecho. Mis canciones favoritas son: "Ya me libere", "Vidita mia","Hay algo en ti", "Que vengan todos", "Un beso y una flor" pero todo el disco es una BOMBA!

My husband and I were in Dominican Republic in the fall of 2002 and the girls at the bar were playing this music that my husband and I fell in love with. We went all over Sosua looking for it and noone had it. They tried to give us 2002. The only place I could find it was here online. Thanks Amazon! The music is upbeat and fun to listen to even if you don't understand all of it!

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!!.......2001-08-10

While in Europe for a month this summer, I had a really suave, Italian busdriver. He always played this CD while we were driving around, and it was such a blast. Everyone got up and danced to it in the aisles!! This CD is one of the best CD's I have owned in quite awhile...it is so much fun to listen to. I highly recommend it.

The summer songs of Spain.......2001-07-11

Every summer Spain has "a" song - La Bomba was it for 2000. Just returning from Spain a couple of weeks ago, I suppose the song for 2001 summer will be "Yo quiero bailar" - however, not found on Caribe Mix 2001 - nonetheless Caribe Mix 2001 is excellent as well - I love both of these cd's -- each will take you back to your summer in Spain or if you have never been, make you wish you had. There is nothing like Spain or these cds. BUY IT!

Summer in Granada.......2001-02-02

I spent the summer in Spain and brought this CD back with me. We heard this music everywhere and fell in love with it. It's the best CD I've bought in a long time!

Close but no cigar.......2000-10-26

If you were in Spain this summer and want to find a collection of some of the songs you heard I would recommend Disco Estrella vol.3 for song selection. Disco Estrella and Caribe 2000 are put out by the same company, and although the songs are the right ones, they all sound like they came right out of a cheesy 1980's casio keyboard. No real horns, no real instruments. These are all covers as far as I can tell. Las Mosca Tse Tse did the original "Para no verte mas" that was playing in Spain for example.
