From the supplier: The problem of meager attendance at youth sports clinics may be solved by carefully planning the establishment of a well-organized clinic. In planning a sports clinic, the prime consideration is to make it attractive to coaches and sports enthusiasts. Four preliminary steps are suggested in planning a sports clinic: the organization of a clinic committee for planning, the selection of a clinic coordinator, identifying objectives and the development of a needs assessment questionnaire. Other considerations include budget, promotion timetable and on-site planning.

From the supplier: A group of physical educators attending the Tennessee Assn. for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Convention discussed the equipment used in workshops which could be made at relatively very low costs. The group decided to hold a 'make-it/take-it' workshop for the members. The types of equipment each participant wanted to make for use at his or her school were determined. Equipment costing about $3,200 were made for only about $400 from donations.
